The Juniper Village at Aurora in Aurora, Colorado, is an assisted living community for seniors with memory loss, either through dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Through the Wellspring Memory Care Program, residents are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities, therapeutically designed to help enhance their quality of life. Round-the-clock security and an integrated resident-to-staff call system help the staff provide excellent senior care. Seniors are provided with four unique housing options, each with its own design. Each includes a living and dining room, kitchen and several apartment choices, each with an en-suite private bathroom. The “Town Square” is easily accessed through all homes, and residents can participate in any of the planned programs in the Town Hall Activities Room or enjoy dessert in the residential Sweet Shoppe. Residents affected with Alzheimer’s or memory loss are provided the opportunity to exercise their bodies and engage their minds.
